Alex International Tours (AIT)
PRICES
The prices of the tourist packages are net, per person. The prices are determined in the contract, with reference to what is indicated on our website or brochures. It may be changed up to 20 days prior to departure and only because of changes in:
- transport costs, including the cost of fuel.
- fees and taxes on certain types of tourist services such as taxes, fees or landing, disembarkation or embarkation rights in ports and airports.
- exchange rates applied to the package in question.
WITHDRAWAL
The tourist can withdraw from the contract once passed the 90 days or less, without paying penalties, in the following cases:
– increase in the price more than 10%.
– significant modification of one or more elements of the contract (does not apply to departure date modifications due to pandemics/ government restrictions/reasons beyond our control)
In the cases mentioned above, the tourist alternately has the right:
– to take advantage of an alternative tourist package, with a refund of the excess price, if the second tourist package has a lower value than the first;
– to a refund of the price already paid (minus $500 administration fees).
Refund Policy
Number of days prior to departure

129 to 91 days = All payments less $1300
90 days or less = no refund
CANCELLATION
There is no provision for refunds for meals, accommodations, or transportation, including flight costs or activities missed by participants for reasons of absence once the program has started. Minor alterations in programs will not result in refunds
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Alex International Tours. LLC at 1990 Rainbow Ave N. Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403 or by email to alexinternationaltours.llc@gmail.com.
PAYMENTS
The deposit, up to a minimum of 25% of the price of the package, to be paid at the time of booking, and the date by which, 120* days before departure (based on the departure date).

THE PRICES INCLUDE:
Round-trip air transportation from the designated U.S. departure city. Full board (in hotels, restaurants, or packed lunch), as published in the statement “the quota includes” of each package. The amounts will be communicated in advance.
In case of increases or new taxes, the prices will have to be adjusted to the changes.
Accommodation in double rooms, singles according to availability and surcharge. Service of an Alex International Tour Manager. Tips (except to tour manager and long-distance bus drivers), all charges for departure taxes, airport, airline and federal security fees and fuel surcharges.
Tap drinking water in carafe, mineral water, and nonalcoholic beverages at meals (unless otherwise agreed or specified in the program).
For meals in the restaurant and in the hotels, to get the best service, please be punctual. The midday meal is normally served between 12:00 and 1:30, while evening meals are between 7:00 and 8:30 unless otherwise agreed and specified in the voucher.
Participants with food allergies, must be reported in writing at the time of registration. Not all hotels/restaurants are able to provide special meals.
Any variation of services on the pre-fixed travel program must be requested in advance to verify its feasibility and any change in cost.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM FEE.
Non-refundable passport fees: Travel insurance fees (if you wish to purchase travel cancellation or medical insurance, you must purchase them on your own. We can help with finding a company that provides such insurances); alcoholic beverages or specialty beverages (unless noted in your itinerary); laundry; excess baggage charges; optional excursions; extensions, programs; tips to tour manager, long distance bus driver and cruise ship staff; expenses incurred during free time periods; overnight lodging and meals in the United States prior to departure or upon return of the international flight; non-refundable visa and visa processing costs for destinations which have visa requirements (note: visas and visa processing costs for non-U.S. citizens may be higher); transportation from participant’s home to the airport of departure and back; and, airport taxes that are collected on the spot in foreign airports.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
- Obtaining a passport is the responsibility of the traveler. If you are not a U.S. citizen, it is your sole responsibility to obtain, in advance, any visas and other documents which may be required to enter or connect through all countries on your itinerary and to re-enter the United States.
- Check at the passport or travel.state.gov offices before departure if you have any questions pertaining to your passport.
- Having the wrong information document can lead to missed departure and the loss of the entire participation fee for the trip.
CUSTOM TOURS
Due to advance reservation fees, Alex International Tours reserves the right to change the non-refundable portions of the program fees. Penalties will depend on the refund policy of the local operators. Higher deposits may also be required to hold reservations and may be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
ENROLLMENT DEADLINES AND WAITING LIST
Registrations forms can be completed online at https://alexinternationaltours.com /mailed to Alex International Tours, 1990 Rainbow Ave N. Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 or dropped off at our office. Only upon receipt of a completed and signed registration form together with the appropriate payments. Alex International Tours reserves the right to refuse any registration at its sole discretion or when our air or land space is full or after ticketing deadlines. New enrollments are not usually accepted within 65 days of departure. In the unusual circumstance that new applications are accepted within 65 days of departure, full payment must be paid in the form of a cashier’s check, money order or by credit card upon registration, and the participant may be subject to additional air or land surcharges. If a registration is refused, a full refund will be made with 45 days of such refusal. Participants who are placed on a waiting list will receive notification within 45 days of registering.
DEPARTING FROM A DIFFERENT U.S. CITY
Participants not originating from the same U.S. departure city as the main group may be required to pay a $175 Alternate Gateway Fee and will not be guaranteed air routings with the main group. Depending upon their airport arrival time, these participants may not be met at their arrival airport and may have to make their own way to their first hotel. In these cases, Alex International Tours will provide a standard transportation allowance. Participants wishing to fly internationally with the main group must arrange their own transportation to and from the main group’s airport.
EXTENDING YOUR STAY
Please confirm the departure date and gateways of your program with our office before making your own bookings, as these might change. To return on your own from the group, participants must contact us and fill a return request form, indicating a specific alternate return date and city. Participants may return from the city in which their program ends or another major international city. We will invoice participants a $175 alternate return fee. Full flight and date details along with the alternate return request must be received by Alex International Tours at least 120 days prior to departure. No changes can be made within 90 days of departure. Otherwise, if participants wish to alter flight arrangements from scheduled program dates, they must plan to make their own domestic and international flight arrangements. All participants flying on their own from the group must make their own ground transportation arrangements to and/or from their departure city and/ or arrival airport. Neither AIT nor the person supervising the group is responsible for the participant in any way when the participant is not part of the main group. All changes must be submitted to AIT in writing. The airline used is at the discretion of AIT. Confirmation of special flight arrangements is subject to availability and will normally be made within 90 days of departure.
BUYING YOUR OWN AIRLINE TICKET
Please confirm with AIT the correct departure date and gateways of your program before making your own bookings, as these may be subject to change. Travelers may choose to purchase only the land portion of trips, contact AIT for more details. They must make their own round trip travel arrangements and join the program at the first hotel accommodation. Neither AIT nor the program leader is responsible for the participant in any way when the participant is not part of the main group. Participants who change from an AIT flight to their own transportation or vice versa less than 90 days prior to the scheduled departure date will be charged $175 for each change. Notification of such change must be in writing. No change can be made within 90 days of departure.
CHANGES IN ITINERARIES AND PROGRAM ASSIGNMENT
AIT reserves the right to make changes in fees, departure dates, departure cities, itinerary sequence, trip direction, airlines, hotels, optional excursions, activities, ship assignment or cruise ports-of-call. On certain dates, especially holidays, some attractions or activities may be closed. AIT reserves the right to substitute attractions or activities. Such changes are not grounds for withdrawal with full refund except as noted under “Refunds.” AIT may cancel a program due to insufficient enrollment, unforeseen operational difficulties, lack of projected availability or any other reasons. If a trip is cancelled by AIT, a full refund will be made within 45 days. This is AIT sole liability, and under no circumstances will AIT be liable for an amount more than the program fee.
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
AIT primarily utilizes regularly scheduled flights. Equipment, routing, and itinerary for flights may be modified by the direct air carrier or by AIT. Non-stop plane service is not guaranteed; alternative aircraft of any carrier may be substituted at any time, and aircraft may make additional stops. Such changes will not create a right to cancellation or refund. AIT is not responsible for flight delays, missed connecting flights, long layovers or any expenses related to such delays. AIT books regular economy class seats and can accommodate requests for upgrade for addition costs. Participants interested in a seating upgrade will be charged a $150 Upgrade Fee, plus additional airline charges. These charges may also be subject to different cancellation policies as upgraded tickets are handled outside our group contract and may be non-refundable upon purchase.
FINAL DEPARTURE DETAILS
The flight information will be made available at least 45 days prior to departure. Airline information will be sent only if full payment and the signed release from all participants has been received. Please note that AIT will email travel documents directly to all individuals.
LUGGAGE
Due to airline and bus restrictions the limit is 44 lbs. per person, which includes one suitcase and one small carry-on item. Airline baggage fees may apply. Luggage travels at the risk of the participant, and AIT is not responsible for any delay of, loss or damage to it or its contents. Airlines are strictly adhering to their policy of one carry-on bag. Please check with the air carrier directly for their specific baggage liability limitation. Participants are responsible for any airline luggage fees. Airlines are not responsible for any act or event during the time the participants are not on board their planes or conveyances. The participant’s contract in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the participant. Any and/or all transportation companies mentioned herein shall have or incur no responsibility for liability to any traveler aside from their liability as common carriers
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You, the tourist, acknowledge and agree that ALEX INTERNATIONAL TOURS (AIT), its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, including any person or entity employed or utilized by AIT cannot be responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or expense resulting from events beyond its control, including, without limitation, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, incidents of politically-motivated violence, sickness or quarantine, government restrictions or regulations, and, in the absence of its own gross negligence, arising from the use of any vehicle or from AIT selection of, or from any act or omission by, bus or car rental agency, steamship, airline, railroad, taxi or tour service, hotel, restaurant, or other firms, agency, company or individual. Although AIT may endeavor to work with customers to minimize any losses, delays or expenses resulting from any such event. AIT does not guarantee any right to a refund, travel credit, or postponement of travel. Please note that the descriptions in our website or promotional brochures are sample program descriptions only. Your actual itinerary may be reversed or may vary slightly from the original description. The final itinerary that you receive shortly before departure constitutes the program which will be provided by AIT. No warranties, terms or conditions apply to any program unless expressly stated in our website or expressly stated in writing and signed by Alex International Tours (AIT), 1990 Rainbow Ave N. Lake Havasu City, AZ, 86403, USA.
ALLERGY INFORMATION
inform AIT and your group leader immediately with any serious allergy concerns. It is important to note, that while we will communicate all allergies with our suppliers, it is not possible to guarantee 100% allergen-free food. So, if your allergies are severe, please consider the danger, and traveling on tour will be at your own risk.
TOURIST OBLIGATIONS
During registration and before the conclusion of the contract, all travelers will find the corresponding information through their consulate and / or the respective official government information channels.
In any case, before departure, participants will check the update with the American consulate (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/before-you-go/travelers-checklist.html). In the absence of such verification, no responsibility for the missed departure of one or more participants may be attributed to Alex International Tours or the organizer. Participants will have to inform Alex International Tours, and, at the time of departure, they will have to definitively check that they have the vaccination certificates, the individual passport and any other document valid for all the countries affected by the itinerary, as well as residence visas, transit visas and health certificates that may be required. Furthermore, to assess the health and safety situation of the destination countries and, therefore, the objective usability of the services purchased or to be purchased, the tourist will find (using the information sources indicated in paragraph 2) the information.
Participants must also comply with the rules of normal prudence and diligence and with the specific rules in force in the destination countries of the journey, with all information provided to them by the organizer, as well as with regulations, administrative or legislative provisions relating to the tourist package. Consumers will be required to answer for all the damages that the organizer and / or Alex International Tours must suffer also due to the non-respect of the above-mentioned obligations, including the expenses necessary for their repatriation. The tourist is obliged to provide the organizer with all documents, information, and elements in his possession useful for the exercise of the right of subrogation of the latter against third parties responsible for the damage and is responsible to the organizer of the injury caused to the right of subrogation.
The tourist will also communicate in writing to the organizer, at the time of booking, the personal requests that may be the subject of specific agreements on how to travel, if it is possible to implement. The tourist is always required to inform Alex International Tours and the organizer of any needs or conditions (pregnancy, food intolerance, disability, etc.) and to explicitly specify the request for related personalized services.

Higher initial deposits may also be required to hold reservations and may be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
SUBSTITUTIONS
The withdrawing tourist can be substituted by another person by:
a) the organizer must be informed in writing at least 90 days before the date set for departure, receiving at the same time communication about the reasons for the replacement and the generality of the transferee.
b) the transferee satisfies all the conditions for the use of the service and in particular the requirements relating to the passport, visas, and health certificates.
c) the same services or other substitute services can be provided following the replacement.
d) the substitute reimburses to the organizer all the additional expenses incurred to proceed with the substitution, to the extent that will be quantified before the transfer.
The transferor and the transferee are jointly responsible for the payment of the balance of the price as well as the amounts referred to in letter d) of this article.
INSURANCE AGAINST CANCELLATION AND RETURN EXPENSES
…is not included in the price, it is possible, and indeed advisable, to research at the time of booking special insurance policies against the costs deriving from the cancellation of the tourist package, from possible injuries and events related to luggage carried. It will also be possible to stipulate an assistance contract covering the costs of the return flight in case of accidents, or illnesses. The tourist will exercise the rights arising from these contracts exclusively against the stipulating insurance companies, under the conditions and in the manner provided for by such policies.
